Learning math is a part of school many students would love to avoid. Caught in the difficulty and confusion that math often brings with it, students do not stop to think about how they use math in some form or the other, almost every day. Much of the difficulty associated with math is due to inadequate instruction in the classroom. Teaching math requires instructors to use a degree of creativity to ensure that the lessons are delivered to suit each student’s aptitude and capability.
Some beauty tips are seasonal. For example in winter time, it can be helpful to use moisturizers or highlighters that have warm tones like gold or pink. Apply this by using a cosmetic sponge to your cheeks and brow bones. It can make you look shiny if you use too much.
Students of teachers that do take this kind of time have better outcomes on state tests than students of teachers who only stick to the text. Almost any social studies context provides a backdrop for learning that adds depth.
Another contributor from the world of biology came from studying animal behavior. So many aspects of animal behavior are difficult to explain. How birds and butterflies can migrate over thousands of miles, to the same destination, along the same path, without ever have being there. How dogs can sense our emotions or predict when a storm is coming, as if they’re tuned in to a frequency that we just aren’t hearing. Animals are tuned in to something, something we may have lost contact with long ago.
I can remember the first time I visited the Florida State University Campus. It seemed larger than life, and I thought I would never find my way around. The orientation specialist seemed to be speaking another language – meal plans, Gordon rule requirements, drop and add period. It was overwhelming, to say the least. I was not only intimidated by the size of the campus, but what it stood for. Independence. Maturity. Life-changing decisions. Even though I felt nervous, anxious, excited, and afraid, it was a good feeling. I knew that I was about to embark on a journey that would challenge who I was and help me to become the individual I wanted to be.
